Once enrolled, students are expected to attend their weekly session(s). We believe a rhythm of work is crucial to an effective program, and missing a session disrupts this rhythm. That said, missed sessions are sometimes unavoidable, and in that case, MLS requires notification of cancellation by 6:00 PM the evening before the session to avoid a charge*.
How to request additional sessions
To request additional sessions, email scheduling@mlstutors.com. While a guarantee of a group or a private session with a specific tutor cannot always be made on short notice, we will honor requests for additional sessions on a first-come first-serve basis. When a time slot becomes available after a request is made, a staff member will be in touch to confirm the requested session.
How to cancel your session
Please email scheduling@mlstutors.com to notify staff of a pending missed session. We appreciate as much notice as possible as we often receive requests for extra sessions and want to accommodate our students’ requests.
*Illness and extenuating circumstances
In the event of sudden illness, inclement weather, and emergencies, this policy may be waived. Please email scheduling@mlstutors.com to notify us or ask any questions.
